Jeep-Safaris (2 Tage)
Arrada Canyon – Wadi Safra – White Canyon – Coloured Canyon, 2 Days
We drive by 4x4 wheel Jeep to Arrada Canyon. After hiking through the canyon we drive to Wadi Safra, a white and yellow sand landscape. We continue to the big Duna where we play in the sand and run down. Then we will go to the Gebbel Maghroum, the mountain with a hole. The jeep will then drop us at the White Canyon. After hiking the canyon we arrive at the Oasis Ain Khudra. We will have our dinner with the Bedouins and sleep overnight. After breakfast we drive through Wadi Gazzhala, see the mushroom tree and arrive to the Coloured Canyon. We will continue to Nuweiba, where we can swim and snorkel in the sea. We will have our lunch and in the late afternoon we drive back to Dahab.
White Canyon – Coloured Canyon – Ras Abu Gallum – Blue Hole, 2 Days
We will drive by 4x4 wheel Jeep to the White Canyon. The hike will lead us to the Oasis of Ain Khudra. We will discover the oasis and have a lunch with the Bedouins. Then drive by car through Wadi Gazzhala to the Coloured Canyon. In this area we will have our dinner and sleep overnight. On the second day the jeep will bring us to Ras Abu Gallum National Park. Here we can swim and snorkel and meet the Bedouins living in this village. We will have our lunch here, if we are lucky, freshly caught fish! In the afternoon we walk about 2 hours to the Blue Hole to snorkel there. We will be picked up by our Jeep and be driven back to Dahab in the evening.
St. Catherine – Arrada Canyon – Wadi Safra – Duna, 2 Days
In the morning we drive to St. Catherine and visit the Monastery. Then we drive to the Arrada Canyon where we have our lunch. We continue through Wadi Gazzhala to reach the Oasis Ain Khudra in the evening. We will share dinner with the Bedouins and sleep overnight. The next morning after breakfast we hike through the White Canyon and be picked up by the jeep again. Then we drive to the Nawamis, the oldest stone houses of the ancient Bedouins in the Sinai. From there we will drive to the Wadi Safra, the Duna and the Maghroum Mountain. We will have our lunch at a fresh water spring. In the afternoon we drive through Wadi Illigibi back to Dahab.
Oasis Feiran – Serabit el Khadim – Hathor Temple – Turquoise Mines, 2 Days
In the morning we drive by 4x4 wheel jeep to the Oasis Feiran, the largest oasis in the Sinai. We will visit the monastery. From there we will continue to the Bedouin village of Serabit el Khadim. We walk on the Serabit el Khadim mountain (755m) and visit the ancient Egyptian temple of the goddess Hathor. We will have our dinner here and spend the night. The next morning we visit the turquoise mines in Wadi Baala. Our drive continues through Wadi el Ramla and we visit the holy gravesite of Sheikh Hebus and "The forest of Columns”. We cross through Wadi El-Seih and Wadi Mekattub back to Wadi Feiran, from there the jeep drives us back to Dahab.
