What to bring with you
The following items are highly recommended for a holiday in Dahab:
- Sunglasses
- sun block & lip salve
- mosquito spray (not available in eauropean quality!)
- light casual clothing and long trousers
- tops and a jacket for the winter months from dec-march
- Towels for the beach (but also available in all shops)
- sleeping bag if you intend to go on a safari
- good filter coffee (in Dahab only Nescafe available)
- fly strips (locally not available)
- High percentage alcohol for a shot after the meal (local acohol quality very bad)
- Chocolate and pens for local children
